About Michael

I became a certified nonfiction book coach after a fulfilling career as a writer, editor, and content strategist. I’ve been a top editor at CIO Magazine and Computerworld, a freelance writer (for Boston University’s Bostonia Magazine, among others), a daily newspaper reporter (The Patriot Ledger and The MetroWest Daily News) and a consulting developmental editor and content strategist for business publications and corporations. I’ve worked on everything from blogs to books.

I became a book coach to help authors bring their meaningful ideas and important stories to the world. I earned my nonfiction book coach certification through Author Accelerator, the leading professional training organization for book coaches. Their certification process includes rigorous coursework, manuscript evaluation training, and practical coaching experience. This training strengthens the support I provide nonfiction authors.

I live with my family in the Boston area. I’m also a fiction writer, arts enthusiast and sports fan.
